The 2011 Infiniti G Sedan is available in multiple trim levels that are broken into two model designations based on engine: G25, G25 Journey, G37 Journey, and G37 Sport 6MT. There are also the G25x and G37x models that add all-wheel drive to the Journey trims.
The basic trim, G25, comes well equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, foglamps, bi-xenon headlights, cruise control, keyless entry and ignition, automatic climate control, a power driver and passenger seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, leather upholstery and a six-speaker sound system with CD player, satellite radio and an auxiliary audio jack. The G25 Journey trim level adds a rearview camera, automatic headlights, heated mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, rear-seat air vents, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a Bluetooth and an iPod/USB interface.
The only difference between the G25 Journey and the G37 Journey is the engine. The G37 has an available Premium package that adds rear parking sensors, a sunroof, power-adjustable steering wheel, and a ten-speaker Bose sound system with digital music storage. In addition, there is also a Sport Appearance package for the G37 Journey that includes all of the Premium package upgrades plus a rear spoiler, chin spoiler, and 18-inch wheels.
The premium G37 Sport 6MT comes standard with all of the Premium package and Sport Appearance package extras. In addition, the G37 Sport 6MT is upgraded with a six-speed manual transmission, limited-slip differential, upgraded 18-inch wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, larger brakes, and sport seats with manual thigh extension.
The Infiniti G25 has a 2.5-liter V6 that generates 218 horsepower. The Sedan comes standard with a seven-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The Infiniti G25 has an estimated fuel economy of 20 mpg city and 29 miles per gallon highway.
The Infiniti G37 is powered with a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 328 horsepower. A seven-speed automatic transmission is standard, but the Sport 6MT features a six-speed manual transmission. The G37 Journey can go from zero to 60 mph in a rapid 5.4 seconds. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, while the G37 Sport 6MT gets has an estimated 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.
The 2011 Infiniti G Sedan has many standard safety features including anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, font-side airbags, and side-curtain airbags, as well as a rearview camera.
